Metallica is sharing pro-shoot footage of their ‘Master of Puppets’ May 24th performance in Munich, Germany.

The performance went viral last month after a bolt of lightning appeared in the sky above the open-air Olympiastadion stadium as the band ripped into the song’s iconic opening riff.

A fan first tweeted about the incident, sharing a video and writing, “Went to the Metallica concert in München today, a thunderstorm happened and it made for the coolest f**king intro of all time.”
