Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale revealed in a new interview with Cumulus’ Rock 100.5 the KATT, that an upcoming Greatest Hits album is scheduled for a November release:
“The first song off that is called ‘Nowhere To Go But Everywhere’… And it really is a song that I wrote for my friends. And you’ll be able to sing it about you and your friends. It’s a weird song. It [has] a power. So if you get a wistful feeling because Jimmy Buffett died [earlier this month]… I wrote a song that has a wistful feel to it, which I thought was a cool way of making a song to do the greatest hits that encapsulated everything I’ve done.”
Bush’s first greatest hits album, The Best of ’94-’99, was released in 2005 and contained songs from 1994’s Sixteen Stone, 1996’s Razorblade Suitcase, 1997’s Deconstructed remix album and 1999’s The Science of Things as well as nine songs from their Woodstock ’99 live set.
