Stars are lining up to pay tribute to late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins during two special concerts later this year.
The band just announced they will be playing a tribute concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on September 3 and another one on September 27 in Los Angeles.
The London show will include Rush‘s Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Liam Gallagher, Queen‘s Brian May and Roger Taylor, Wolfgang Van Halen, Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde, Chris Chaney from Jane’s Addiction, Josh Homme, Stewart Copeland, Mark Ronson, Omar Hakim, Supergrass, Rufus Taylor from The Darkness, Chevy Metal and a special appearance from Dave Chappelle, with more to be announced.
Los Angeles’ lineup will include Rush‘s Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Queen‘s Brian May and Roger Taylor, Miley Cyrus, Joan Jett, Nikki Sixx, Gene Simmons, Pat Wilson, Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine, Wolfgang Van Halen, Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde, Chris Chaney from Jane’s Addiction, Queens of the Stone Age‘s Josh Homme and Jon Theodore, Luke Spiller, Stewart Copeland, Mark Ronson, Omar Hakim, Rufus Taylor from The Darkness, and a special appearance from Chevy Metal, with more to be announced.
