The Minnesota United advanced to the Western Conference Finals by defeating Sporting KC 3-0 in Kansas City, Kansas. The goals close together, with two Kevin Molino goals in the 27th and 35th minute. Bakaye Dibassy headed in a corner kick in the 38th minute, with Emanual Reynoso getting the assist in all three goals. Dayne St Clair earned the clean sheet, including turning away a near Kansas City goal in the 14th minute. The United head to Seattle to play the Sounders Monday night at 8:30pm for a berth in the MLS Finals.
