NEW ALBUMS

AS I LAY DYING – SHAPED BY FIRE

As I Lay Dying have released their seventh album, Shaped By Fire. The song “Redefined” features guest vocals from Jake Luhrs of August Burns Red.


BLINK-182 – NINE

Nine is blink-182‘s eighth album, but ninth release if you count the 1993 demos album, Buddha. It’s their second album with guitarist/singer Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio).


LIAM GALLAGHER – WHY ME? WHY NOT.

Liam Gallagher‘s second solo offering, Why Me? Why Not. has arrived.

Brother Noel Gallagher is releasing a new EP (his second of the year) next week.


A GIANT DOG – NEON BIBLE

Austin, Texas-based punk group A Giant Dog are streaming their 5th album, Neon Bible.

Neon Bible is a full album cover version of Arcade Fire‘s classic 2007 album of the same name.

Singer Sabrina Ellis stated they’d also considered Queen‘s Sheer Heart Attack and Prince‘s Purple Rain.

Recording a cover album, we felt like actors in a movie. Taking someone else’s lines and embodying those emotions, and expressing those ideas through our own selves, made us portals of human expression… and that’s why the album artwork is an open butthole.


BRITTANY HOWARD – JAIME

The four-time Grammy winner (for 2015’s Sound & Color by Alabama Shakes) is taking a little time off from her main gig to release a solo album.

The album, Jaime, is out today. Check out the video for “Stay High” which stars Terry Crews.


MUDHONEY – MORNING IN AMERICA EP

Mudhoney‘s latest EP (and first one of those in quite a while) features leftovers and alternates versions of songs recorded during the sessions for 2018’s Digital Garbage album.


MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST – REVELATION

Michael Schenker expand upon the countless projects he has going by releasing the second album from Michael Schenker Fest. Their second album, Revelation, is out today.

THE WHITE STRIPES – THE WHITE STRIPES: LIVE IN MISSISSIPPI

The White Stripes have surprise released a new live album. The White Stripes: Live In Mississippi is now streaming online and can be downloaded here.

The recording took place on July 31, 2007 during which would prove to be the band’s final live appearance before disbanding.

COLD – WITHOUT YOU

Cold recently returned with The Things We Can’t Stop, their first album since 2011.

This week, they’ve released the official video for their single “Without You”.


ALICE COOPER – DETROIT CITY 2020

Coming from his recent Breadcrumbs EP, which is a tribute to the music of Detroit, Alice Cooper has updated one of his own songs.

“Detroit City” originally appeared on Alice’s 2003 The Eyes of Alice Cooper album.


TONI CORNELL – FAR AWAY PLACES

15-year-old daughter of Chris Cornell, Toni Cornell, has released a new song.

The song was written when she was 12 and recorded/produced by her father in February 2017


THE DARKNESS – HEART EXPLODES

The Darkness’ concept-album, Easter Is Cancelled, will be here on October 4.

They released a brand new music video this week for their single “Heart Explodes”.


NEW YEARS DAY – COME FOR ME

New Years Day have released the official music video for “Come For Me” which features some clear inspiration from Quentin Tarantino.
