BON IVER – SABLE, fABLE

JEFF BRIDGES – SLOW MAGIC, 1977-1978
Following three country/American releases (Be Here Soon [’00], Jeff Bridges [’11], Live [’14]), not to mention an spoken word-ambient album meant to help you sleep, entitled Sleeping Tapes in 2015; revered archival label Light in the Attic is releasing a compilation of Jeff Bridges‘ late 70’s recordings, Slow Magic, 1977-1978.

The Mars Volta have played many shows already in 2025 and at many of them (perhaps, all of them?) the band played in full, their 10th studio album, Lucro sucio; Los ojos del vacío.

OK GO – AND THE ADJACENT POSSIBLE
The fun indie-pop rockers OK Go return to action this week with And the Adjacent Possible; the band’s first new studio album since 2014. In the interim, the band released the non-album singles “All Together Now” in 2020 and “This” in 2023.

NELL SMITH – ANXIOUS
Anxious, the debut solo album from Nell Smith, is also sadly a posthumous release. The 17-year-old singer tragically died in a car crash in October 2024.
Nell’s first major release came at the age of 13 when she got to collaborate with her favorite band, The Flaming Lips. The resulting 2021 album was a 9-song tribute to the songs of Nick Cave called Where the Viaduct Looms.
