Months after the death of frontman Martin Phillipps, New Zealand’s The Chills announced Spring Board: The Early Unrecorded Songs.
Featuring contributions from Manic Street Preachers producer Greg Haver, Neil Finn of Crowded House and Split Enz, among others; Spring Board is a “dedicated reimagining of [Martin Phillipps’] earlier unreleased songs that became his artistic farewell, a lasting legacy, and a reminder of his huge, underappreciated talent.
