NICK LOWE & LOS STRAITJACKETS – INDOOR SAFARI
The last time Nick Lowe released a studio album, it was 2013’s holiday album Quality Street: A Seasonal Selection for All the Family. He closes the gap between albums this week with his 15th LP, Indoor Safari, this time backed by his tight touring band, Los Straitjackets.
“The Straitjackets like all kinds of music, and are very good, open-minded musicians, apart from being very agreeable people. And they also have a sort of punk rock ethos, which, unfortunately, I do too. I’ve tried to shrug it off so many times, but I just can’t get rid of it.”
