Contest Dates: Contest registration is scheduled to begin on September 2, 2024 and end on January 2, 2025 (the “Registration Period”). The grand prize contest will occur during each designated 2024 Professional Football Minnesota Regular Season game beginning on September 8, 2024 and ending on January 5, 2025. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void outside Minnesota, and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
Who May Enter: Contest is open to legal U.S. residents of Minnesota, who reside within the broadcast listening area of KXXR-FM, and who are age 18 or older as of date of entry, and have a valid driver’s license or government issued photo I.D., except the following classes of persons who are not eligible to enter:
(a) Employees, officers, and directors of KXXR-FM (“Station/Sponsor”), Minneapolis Radio Assets, LLC, Million Dollar Media, LLC, each of their respective franchisees, parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the design or execution of this promotion (collectively, “Released Parties”), and the members of the immediate families or households, whether or not related, of any of the above. “Immediate family members” includes, for purposes of this promotion, parents (including in-laws), grandparents, siblings (including step-siblings), children (including step-children), grandchildren (including step grandchildren) and each of their respective spouses.
How to Enter – On Air Semi-Finalist Registration: Listen to KXXR-FM 93X every Monday – Friday during the Registration Period from 6:00a – 10:00a Central Time (CT). At designated times between the Registration Period, the Station will announce the contest and instruct listeners to call the Station studio contest line to attempt to qualify as a semi-finalist. The designated caller will be randomly selected and will be qualified as a semi-finalist for a chance to participate in the grand prize Score Prediction contest for that week’s game (see below). Sponsor is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions or any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his or her telephone call or qualifying for the contest, or for entries submitted in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these rules, or for any entry not submitted or received due to any technical error or failure, unauthorized human intervention, inaccurate capture or mis-entry of any required information, or the failure to capture any such information or effects of hackers or failure of any electronic equipment, computer or cellular transmissions and/or network connections; all of which will be disqualified.
Each participant must participate on his/her own behalf. Any registration submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s name or identity will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void. All entries received become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
Finalist Selection & Notification (Maximum 1 Finalist per game): A random drawing will be held prior to each designated game date (see below) from among all eligible on-air semi-finalist qualifiers for that game date to select a maximum of one (1) official finalist for each designated game. The selected finalist will be notified by phone of their selection. At the time of notification, the selected finalist must immediately submit to the Station their prediction of the exact halftime and final score for BOTH teams for their designated game date. For example, an eligible score prediction will include the exact halftime and final score prediction for EACH team such as below:

Any selected finalist who cannot be reached during the initial contact attempt to the phone number provided during their semi-finalist qualification, or who does not meet the eligibility requirements, or does not wish to participate in the grand prize contest will be disqualified. An alternate finalist will then be randomly selected from among all remaining eligible semi-finalist qualifiers per the procedures outlined above, time permitting. Decisions of Station in the selection and determination of the official finalist for each game, and all matters related to this contest are final.
Only the one (1) selected finalist, as solely determined and designated by Station, will be eligible to participate in the grand prize Score Prediction contest for their assigned game, for the chance to win the prize awards as outlined below. All other entrants and semi-finalist qualifiers are ineligible to participate or win. Finalist selection and participation is non-transferable.

Score Prediction Contest: In order for the grand prize to be awarded to an eligible finalist, the Halftime AND Final Score prediction submitted by that finalist for their assigned game must exactly match the actual Halftime AND Final Score of the designated game they were required to predict according to the following requirements:
· All Halftime AND Final Score predictions must be completely accurate and match the exact score with the correct team. For example, if the actual final score of a designated game is Minnesota – 27, Chicago – 10, then a predicted final score of Chicago – 27, Minnesota – 10 or a final score prediction of 27 – 10 without specifying the associated teams will not constitute a winning entry.
· All entries must be clear, legible and complete for each team. Any unclear or incomplete predictions will be disqualified and will not be eligible for any prize award.
· Only the one (1) official finalist selected by Station is eligible to participate or win for their assigned game. All other semi-finalist qualifiers for that game are disqualified and will not be eligible to participate or win.
· The grand prize will only be awarded to an eligible finalist if BOTH their halftime AND final score prediction exactly matches the actual Halftime AND Final score of the designated game for BOTH teams.
· The bonus prize will only be awarded to an eligible finalist if EITHER their halftime OR final score prediction exactly matches the actual Halftime OR Final score of the designated game for BOTH teams.
Prize Awards & Delivery: In the event of a successful score prediction, the eligible finalist who submitting the winning prediction will be eligible to claim the associated prize level, subject to approval and verification of compliance with these official rules. The available prize awards are as follows:
· BOTH Correct Halftime AND Final Score Prediction for BOTH teams:
o $100,000 Cash, and
o Trip for two (2) to Las Vegas, NV for the Professional Football Championship game on February 9, 2024 per below
· EITHER Correct Halftime OR Final Score Prediction for BOTH teams: $1,000 Cash
· ALL SEMIFINALISTS will receive one TBD gift card valued at $25.
The Grand Prize Trip to the Professional Football Championship game in New Orleans, LA during the Sponsor designated travel dates of 2/8/2025 – 2/10/2025, based upon availability and subject to change, has a maximum retail value not to exceed $10,000 and includes:
· Round trip coach class airfare for two (winner and guest) from the nearest major airport to the winner’s home as designated by sponsor to New Orleans, LA. Actual departure date, times and airline based upon availability and will be solely determined by sponsor;
· Two (2)-nights standard hotel accommodations, double occupancy at a standard hotel as solely designated by Sponsor in the New Orleans, LA metro area; Arrival and departure dates as solely specified by Sponsor, based upon availability;
· $3,000 gift card or e-gift card to StubHub or other Sponsor designated ticket service provided, towards tickets to any game, event or entertainment of winner’s choice in the New Orleans, LA metro area during the designated travel dates. Gift card subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing gift card provider.
Sponsor is not responsible for any travel delays or difficulty. If travel delays or difficulty prevent arrival in time for any and all elements of trip, sponsor is not responsible for awarding any compensation in lieu thereof. Each winner and his/her guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Any changes to completed travel arrangements, once booked, are the sole responsibility of the winner, and are solely at the winner’s expense. Actual value of the trip will depend on point of departure, destination and any airfare fluctuations.
Grand Prize finalist’s guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her state of residence (and at least 18) and will be required to execute and return a liability/publicity release prior to prize award. All meals, gratuities, checked baggage fees, airline seat assignment fees, hotel resort fees, applicable taxes (including, but not limited to all local, state and federal taxes) and any other expenses not specified herein as being included in the finalist prize are the sole responsibility of the finalists. Sponsor not responsible for late, lost, damaged or stolen luggage. Any admission/tickets purchased or received by winner, are subject to the terms and conditions of the event, and hosting venue policies. Seat locations, if any, will be based solely on availability.
All prize awards are non-cumulative. A maximum of (2) grand prizes will be available for award in the contest, to the first two official finalist’s who successfully complete the grand prize contest requirements according to these official rules. The grand prize portion of the contest will be concluded following the first (2) successful halftime & final score prediction attempts. A maximum of (17) bonus prize awards (halftime score only or final score only) will be available in the contest, maximum of one per week. If the prize winning requirements are not successfully completed by an eligible finalist during the contest period, then the contestant prize(s) will NOT be awarded.
All prize winner(s), if any, must accept delivery of prize from Sponsor, or as otherwise instructed by sponsor. All other costs related to prize delivery and acceptance are the responsibility of winner including but not limited to taxes, title, insurance, license, and registration fees. All properly claimed prizes will be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash redemption or prize substitution allowed, except at sponsor’s sole discretion or as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Verification of Potential Winner. THE ELIGIBILITY OF ALL POTENTIAL CONTEST WINNERS IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY STATION WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE CONTEST. The potential winner must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. The potential winner may be notified by email and/or telephone call after the date of random drawing and/or winner determination. Grand prize winner(s) will be required to complete and return a W-9 form (if prize value exceeds $600.00), affidavit of eligibility, and liability/publicity release (Tennessee residents need not sign publicity release), and present a valid driver’s license and social security card before prize will be awarded. Winners of prizes greater than $600.00 will be issued a 1099 form reflecting the value of the prize(s) and are responsible for paying all income taxes on prize(s).
Failure to collect or properly claim any prize in accordance with these rules will result in forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited for any reason, contestant will not receive any other prize substitution or compensation. Total ARV of all available prize awards: $237,000.
Additional Rules & Restrictions: By participating in this contest, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator, which shall be final in all matters relating to this contest. In the event an entrant wins a prize, and is later found to be in violation of these rules he/she will be required to forfeit the prize or to reimburse Sponsor for the stated value of the prize if such violation is discovered after winner has used the prize. Participation in contest constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade in any media worldwide without limitation or further compensation unless prohibited by law. False, fraudulent or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible for any prize.
Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing or advertising of the offer, administration or execution of the contest or in the announcement of the prizes/prize winners.
Entry Conditions and Release. By entering, each participant agrees to: (a) comply with and be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Station, which are binding and final in all matters relating to this contest; (b) release and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property, including but not limited to invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory), defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, property damage, or death or personal injury arising out of or relating to a participant’s entry, creation of an entry or submission of an entry, participation in the contest, acceptance or use or misuse of prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) and/or the broadcast, exploitation or use of entry; and (c) indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to an entrant’s participation in the contest and/or entrant’s acceptance, use, non-use or misuse of the prize.
Station/Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify or terminate the contest, or any part of it, if fraud, misconduct or technical failures or any other factor beyond Station’s reasonable control impairs, destroy or threaten the integrity or proper functioning of this contest portion of the promotion, as determined in the sole opinion of the Station/Sponsor, or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper conduct of the contest as determined by Station/Sponsor, in their sole discretion. In the event of early termination of the contest, Station/Sponsor reserves the right to determine the finalists in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the time/date of such termination. Station/Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these rules or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Station reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Station’s failure to enforce any term of these rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Releasees shall not be liable to any winner, entrant or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof by reason of any acts of God, any actions, regulations, orders, or requests by any governmental entity,
equipment failure, terrorist acts, war, fire, unusually severe weather, embargo, labor dispute or strike, labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, or any other cause beyond Releasees’ sole control. No more than the advertised maximum number of prizes will be awarded for any reason.
Limitations of Liability. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Station, entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the contest; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the contest or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the contest or receipt or use, non-use or misuse of any prize. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In event that a production, technical, programming or other error causes more than stated number of prizes as set forth in these rules to be claimed, Station reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, unawarded, eligible prize claims.
IN CASE OF DISPUTES: Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved exclusively by the United States District Court or the appropriate state court located in the Station’s listening area; (iii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this contest, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (iv) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Station in connection with the contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the state in which the Station is located, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the state in which the Station is located or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the state in which the Station is located.
Odds: The odds of being selected as a semi-finalist qualifier are dependent upon the number of listeners attempting to call the station during each qualification attempt. The odds of being selected as a finalist are dependent upon the number of semi-finalists qualified for each game. The odds of winning the bonus prize or grand prize, once selected as an official finalist for a designated game, are based upon the skill of the finalist in predicting the halftime and final score for each team, and the performance of the teams.
