JOHNNY BLUE SKIESPASSAGE DU DESIR

Grammy winning musician Sturgill Simpson had always been clear that he planned to only release five studio albums under his own name. (His two albums of bluegrass re-recordings of his back catalog don’t count, since he was re-recording them in the style the songs were originally intended to be recorded.)

Passage Du Desir is the debut album from his new project’s moniker Johnny Blue Skies. Sturgill, as Johnny Blue Skies, was previously featured on Diplo‘s 2023 single “Use Me” with actress/singer Dove Cameron.
