ALICE IN CHAINS – JAR OF FLIES 30TH ANNIVERSARY
Released 30 years ago, Alice In Chains’ third EP, Jar of Flies, was the first EP in music history to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Containing the hit singles “No Excuses”, “I Stay Away” and “Don’t Follow”, a the limited edition vinyl is said to have been pressed using real dead flies. (see Notable New Releases graphic above)

The Gaslight Anthem‘s History Books: Short Stories is a four song EP featuring 2 acoustic versions of songs from last year’s History Books LP, a re-recording of 2008’s “Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts” and a cover of Billie Eilish‘s debut single, “Ocean Eyes.”
The new EP was produced by Butch Walker, who’d previously produced Gaslight singer Brian Fallon‘s 2016 debut solo album, Painkillers.

Bright Future is the sixth solo album from Adrianne Lenker, frontperson for beloved Grammy-nominated indie folk band Big Thief.
Bright Future is her first solo album since simultaneously releasing Songs and Instrumentals in October 2020. Both Songs and Instrumentals were ranked (by Exclaim!, Magnet, NPR, Paste, Pitchfork, Uproxx, Vulture and more) as among the Top 50 best albums of 2020.
