The second release of 2023 from Phil Campbell and the Bastards Sons follows the Motörhead-adjacent band’s Live In the North, which was released in February. Kings of the Asylum is their first studio album with new vocalist, Joel Peters.

GWAR – BATTLE MAXIMUS 10TH ANNIVERSARY REMASTER
Gwar have remixed and remastered their 2013 album, Battle Maximus. The album was a tribute to their late lead guitarist Cory “Flattus Maximus” Smoot. The album was also the last to feature longtime vocalist Dave “Oderus Urungus” Brockie who died the following year.
In addition to the album’s original 13 tracks, the 10th anniversary edition of Battle Maximus includes two tracks previously available on European editions (which includes their cover of “Carry on Wayward Son” by Kansas) as well as Brockie’s final recorded vocal performance, “Tammy, the Swine Queen.”
