Rage Against The Machine Postpone Tour

Another long-awaited reunion tour will have to wait a little longer. Rage Against The Machine is postponing the first dates of its spring U.S. tour, including their May 11th & 12th shows at Target Center, due to the concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The band announced Friday that the first part of its U.S. tour with Run The Jewels would be postponed until later this year. Make-up dates will hopefully be announced soon.

statement from official website of Rage Against The Machine

“DUE TO THE CURRENT OUTBREAK AND BAN ON PUBLIC GATHERINGS WE ARE POSTPONING THE FIRST PART OF OUR TOUR (MARCH 26TH – MAY 20TH) WITH RUN THE JEWELS. THE SAFETY AND HEALTH OF THOSE WHO COME TO OUR SHOWS IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE TO US. ALL PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED TICKETS WILL BE HONORED FOR NEWLY RESCHEDULED SHOWS. AS IT STANDS, THE JULY AND AUGUST TOUR IS STILL ON. WE WILL BE IN TOUCH SOON ABOUT RESCHEDULED DATES”

Fans who have purchased tickets for the May 11th or 12th concerts should hold onto those tickets, which will be honored for the rescheduled playdates. No need to refund or exchange them. Anyone unable to attend the rescheduled dates can pursue a refund at the original point of purchase.
