THE DARLING FIRE – DARK CELEBRATION

A supergroup of sorts; The Darling Fire features members of Further Seems Forever, Rocking Horse Winner, Dashboard Confessional, Poison the Well (among others).

They have now released their debut album, Dark Celebration.

NOEL GALLAGHER’S HIGH FLYING BIRDS – BLACK STAR DANCING EP

It appears as if both of the Brothers Gallagher from Oasis are releasing new music this year. Last week, Liam Gallagher released a new solo single.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have released the brand new EP Black Star Dancing.

CLUTCH – “EVIL” (Willie Dixon cover)

New Clutch! They’ve revealed this week they will be launching the Weathermaker Vault Series. Along with the announcement comes the release of the Willie Dixon cover, “Evil”. And it’s undeniably Clutch!

BOB MOULD – “I DON’T MIND” (Buzzcocks cover)

Bob Mould, the legendary co-leader of Husker Du and Sugar, just announced a solo electric tour coming this fall. He simultaneously released a cover of this Buzzcocks classic in tribute to Pete Shelley who passed away in December 2018.

VOLBEAT – “LAST DAY UNDER THE SUN”

The new Volbeat album will be here before we know it (August 2).

This week, they released single #3 from the new album. (Revisit “Parasite” & “Leviathan“)
