Entering Week 7 on the NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings had yet to taste the pungent flavors of defeat. Unfortunately for them the Philadelphia Eagles were ready to do everything they could to serve up that chilling feeling that they had already succumbed to twice before.
A bizarre start took place at Lincoln Financial Field as the game saw an astonishing five turnovers in the first 11 plays from scrimmage. The Vikings walked into the game with just one turnover and walked out with five. However, as detrimental as turnovers can be, the team had many other mistakes that were uncharacteristic.
Sam Bradford was sacked six times, but he was also hit another 12 times and was under pressure on 19 drop backs, which was over 40 percent of his passes.
Luke Inman breaks down the film of the Vikings’ first loss of the 2016 season with a look at their offense, defense and special teams.
