ROB ZOMBIE's latest project as a director will take him to the small screen.  The Hollywod Reporter says that Zombie will direct an episode of CSI: Miami, set to air on March 1st.  The episode deals with secret tapes and evidence tampering.  Production on the episode began on Wednesday. 

Zombie is deeply steeped in film as well as rock.  He has directed two Halloween films, House Of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects.  Additionally, his band WHITE ZOMBIE took their name from a 1932 BELA LUGOSI classic.  Zombie's other foray into TV has been as a horror host for TCM Underground on Turner Classic Movies, and AMC's Fearfest '08 on American Movie Classics.
